What are the benefits of leaving feedback?

Leaving detailed feedback is helpful to the school districts and to you as a substitute. It helps administrators and teachers fine tune their preparation for substitute teachers. Your feedback allows them to see what methods work best, as well as areas they could improve upon. Additionally the feedback can help you keep track of your experiences at each school and allow you to look back for reminders about specific teachers and classes.

Which districts ask for feedback?

Only certain districts ask for feedback and allow it as an option. You can tell by looking at the top of your homepage. There may be a tab that is labeled ‘feedback’. (Look between the ‘history’ and ‘preferences’ tab).

Clicking on the ‘feedback’ tab will give you a list of all of the absences from the past 14 days for which you can leave feedback.

How to leave feedback

Each assignment will be displayed with the teacher name, school, date, subject, and all other important info. There will be a button labeled ‘leave feedback’ for each assignment. Simply click that button to get started.

  1. The first question asks you to give an overall star rating for the assignment. Choose from 1 to 5 stars, with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.
  2. Once you rate the assignment, you will see additional questions that may be district specific.
  3. If a question has a ** next to it, that question requires an answer.
  4. Once you have completed all the questions, click the ‘submit’ button.

Tips for feedback

You may review the feedback you have left at any time during the current school year. All you need to do is click on the ‘feedback I have left’ tab. You can not only view the specific star ratings, but by clicking on that star rating, you can also see your answers to the questions.
